PACIFIC NORTHWEST BUDO ASSOCIATION
The Tsubomi Seishin Kan Dojo actively supports the charitable and education programming of the Pacific Northwest Budo Association, a federal 501c3 non-profit educational organization devoted to fostering appreciation for Japanese martial and cultural arts as effective means of fostering character development, harmonious cooperation, peaceful conflict resolution, and global citizenship. Martial and cultural artists have a great deal to contribute to society. We have an obligation to give back to our communities, to the arts and our teachers, support the organizations that support us, and work for the benefit of society and the whole human family. We choose to do this by "Strengthening the individual, lifting up the whole society." The Pacific Northwest Budo Association provides a great tool to accomplish this goal. We encourage our members to join and participate, and invite everyone else interested in supporting the development of the martial and cultural arts in our community to also join.
Tsubomi Seishin Kan Dojo members are encouraged join the Pacific Northwest Budo Association and participate in its activities as a concrete way to give back to the arts and the community. Together our memberships make a BIG difference in our community and the individual cost is only $35 adults, $15 children. Membership dues are fully tax-deductible (federal tax id#06-1695055). Visit www.pacificbudo.org for more information about the PNBA and its activities. Make checks for membership and/or donations payable to "PNBA." Mail to:

Join the PNBA!
Member dues are modest, tax-deductible, and make a big difference in our community. Cultural and arts programming is being cut from schools, and businesses and other non-profits struggle to keep up their support for educational and arts. PNBA membership is a wonderful way to pool our dojo resources, give back to our arts, and show that martial artists are working for our community. Please join today. Tax-deductible donations, employer matching grants, and member dues are all vital to our ability to continue charitable work on behalf of our dojo.
We thank all our PNBA members
PNBA at Bunka no Hi
Together with the Japanese Cultural Center of Washington (www.jcccw.org), the PNBA presented a large installation at its annual Japanese Culture Day featuring Bonsai, Ikebana, and Shodo. The Tsubomi Seishin Kan Dojo participated with demonstrations of Aikido and Iaido.

PNBA at Eastside Aki Matsuri
The Tsubomi Seishin Kan Dojo and the Pacific Northwest Budo Association were prominently featured at the Eastside Nikkei Aki Matsuri Association's huge event at the Bellevue Community College. The PNBA introduced its community service work to the community, and large demo teams from the Tsubomi Dojo gave spirited performances of Aikido and Iaido.

PNBA School Visits
Elementary and secondary students are naturally fascinated by the martial and traditional cultural arts of Japan. The PNBA frequently visits schools, businesses, and community groups to give demonstrations that inspire new generations to study Japanese culture.
